Our Story

Yes, we love to shop, but it’s so hard to find a dress that has all the features we want in a comfortable fabric.

We all need that comfortable, travel-friendly foundation dress in our wardrobes. Our company, Dress Me Best Fashions LLC, is bringing stylish, high quality, personalized dresses to women everywhere with its first line of dresses – This One Dress. Now you can find a dress with the shape and personal options that you want, so you can always be your best, most confident self whenever you wear it.

We are both working, busy moms who have been friends and neighbors for over 20 years. We’ve seen each other through the ups and downs of trying to “do it all and be it all” for our families, friends, careers and communities. It’s hard and we know it!  Let us help you by at least making your dress easy, comfortable and just the way you want it.

We are so excited to have created This One Dress, the One dress you’ll reach for again and again.

Here for you,

Michele & Diane

Our Role in Sustainable and Ethical Manufacturing

We see it as our responsibility to partner with companies that help us address the consequences of mass production and ethical manufacturing. We share the widespread concern about mass production and textile manufacturing and the challenges they bring to the environment. We are committed to reducing the impact on the environment and we are committed to working with ethical companies and supporting local economies.

The cost to develop and make customized dresses is not cheap.  The past three years our main focus has been on creating a business model that isn’t mainstream or the norm.   It requires state of the art technology to cut, sew and deliver a customized dress in 2 weeks. We found a factory in Alabama that is the very definition of sustainable and ethical manufacturing and gets our vision of on demand manufacturing equals less waste. With traditional manufacturing apparel goes unsold, usually after being shipped and handled multiple times.  As a result, there is wasted fabric, wasted energy, greenhouse emissions, and the landfill overflows.

Our fabric is knitted and dyed in the USA by factories that are Bluesign certified. Bluesign changes the environmental impact of textiles for good.  Our packaging has been purposely kept to a minimum and can be reused or upcycled.  The best way for us to be transparent is to be open with you about where and how our dresses are made.

We are excited to join the conversation. We are proud to be the change.
